Roger practices in the area of commercial civil litigation and dispute resolution with an emphasis on construction, real property and insurance matters.

Prior to law school Roger worked extensively in the cargo industry as an entrepreneur and manager where he gained real world experience including the importance of mitigating risk while finding cost effective solutions to commercial challenges.

Roger attended the University of Liverpool and graduated with an LL.B before completing the LL.M program in international commercial law at Boston University School of Law. Prior to articles, Roger interned at an external agency of the World Bank in Washington DC, and also worked for Access Pro Bono BC as an intake coordinator.

Roger articled at a national firm and was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in February 2016. Before joining McKechnie & Company as an associate in January 2017, he practiced in the area of general commercial litigation, including maritime and transportation matters.

Roger is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and has appeared in the Supreme and Provincial Courts of British Columbia.

When Roger is not biking to work in the early morning hours, he enjoys spending time with family and friends searching for taco shops.
